It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce that after six years at Mummy’s Wish, including two years as Chief Executive, Emma Bryant is leaving the organisation at the end of May and joining Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation, another cause close to her heart.

Emma Bryant, CEO

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my six years at Mummy’s Wish. In that time I have been privileged to be part of the rapid growth of the organisation—both in terms of impact and staffing,” Emma said.

“I am proud of what we have all achieved together and feel that it is time for new leadership to take Mummy’s Wish through the next stage of growth and national expansion.

“I will always be passionate about supporting mums with cancer and look forward to seeing Mummy’s Wish reach its strategic goal of being able to support every Australian mum with cancer by 2025.”

Mummy’s Wish Chair, Trevor Cuss, said Emma had played a key role in the development growth and success of the organisation.

“While we will miss Emma and what she brings to the leadership team, we wish her the best of luck in her new role and the next chapter of her career,” Trevor said.

“Emma leaves Mummy’s Wish in a strong position for future growth and we sincerely thank her for her contribution, commitment and leadership during her tenure. She will be missed by the staff, Board, supporters and partners alike.”

Presently, the Board are conducting a national search to identify and recruit a new CEO for Mummy’s Wish. During this transition, the senior management team will lead operations, and with the robust processes and resourcing which is currently in place, services and mum’s support will continue exactly as is. Emma will be working with Mummy’s Wish until the end of May.

If you have any questions or concerns during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to the team at Banyo, alternatively our Chair (Trevor Cuss) or the Secretary of Mummy’s Wish (Rachel Burke) via the office contact details.
