Update from Our National CEO
As you would be aware the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation continues to evolve across the world. We understand that there will be members of our community who have been affected, please know our thoughts are with you.
The executive team are continuously monitoring the COVID -19 situation and have made the difficult decision to cease cleaning support services, until further notice, to ensure protection of our mums and their families. All other tailored practical support options will continue and include; care-packs, counselling, gardening and home delivered nutritious meals.
Fundraising & Engagement
All planned fundraising and engagement activities have been rescheduled or postponed until further notice. This includes the signature BMIF lunch, hosted by Carla Hadden of Place Estate Agents, and our engagement visit in Sydney. While disappointing, we know that these events will be bigger and brighter when life gets back to normal. Thank you to all our wonderful supporters.
At Mummy’s Wish we have the culture, technology and capability to enable our team to work remotely, ensuring their wellbeing. This change, combined with implementation of our business continuity plan, means that our team are continuing to provide mums with practical support when mums need it the most.
These will be challenging times for Mummy’s Wish however, as an agile and proactive organisation we look forward to moving through these times together. Please keep safe and remember that we are here, despite this pandemic, dedicated to providing support to mums with cancer.
After all a mum with cancer is still a mum…..
