Being a mum is hard, being a mum with cancer is harder and being a mum with cancer in lockdown is overwhelmingly difficult.

We’ve seen this impact firsthand with our own NSW Mummy’s Wish mums. They are struggling to find the time, resources and space to rest and recuperate without the comfort of many of the regular activities they participated in pre-lockdowns.

We can only imagine how tiresome it is trying to look after your health while homeschooling and comforting your children, managing a household and dealing with the uncertainty of COVID-19.

That is why our support coordinators have carefully curated 77 lockdown comfort packs which have been sent to our NSW mums!

The packs contain resources, activities and other items to:

  • Keep the kids entertained
  • Give mum time for self-care and rest
  • Provide comfort and support to the entire family

“I just received mine today, thank you so much. Such a lovely treat to receive in lockdown. My girls are super happy and it really made us smile.”

This wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of the many Mummy’s Wish supporters who banded together to donate over $3000.

Thank you to every donor who has helped create these magical packs. A special thank you especially to the local businesses who have donated their products to make mums lockdown a little less stressful:

  • Louvellewear for donating their gorgeous eye masks
  • Good360 for donating their family and junior Winter empowerment packs
